I'm really quite glad to see this.

France makes abortion a constitutional right
France becomes the first country to explicitly include the right to terminate a pregnancy in its constitution.

I fully accept the right of anti-abortion activists to campaign against it, in so much as it'd be a slippery slope to outlaw that right — and I can even understand their logic (although I don't agree with it) — but I feel the case for it being a woman's right to choose is just so clear.

I'm very glad to see one country enshrine this right in its constitution. I hope others will follow!
